Help Launch the 2025 Embry-Riddle Worldwide AAAE Student Chapter - Leadership Elections & Opportunities!

Dear Embry-Riddle Worldwide AAAE Student Chapter Members,

I hope you're doing well! It's been a few months since our last update, and I really hope that you are all eager to re-energize efforts to officially establish the Embry-Riddle Worldwide AAAE Student Chapter.

As part of the world’s largest professional organization for airport executives, our chapter aims to support your professional development, connect you with industry leaders, and provide valuable insights into airport management and operations.

To move forward, our immediate priority is electing chapter officers—a key requirement for official AAAE recognition.

Leadership Roles Available

We are seeking motivated students to fill the following positions:
✈ President – Leads the chapter, oversees meetings, and serves as the primary liaison with AAAE.
✈ Vice President – Supports the President, assists with chapter initiatives, and steps in when needed.
✈ Secretary/Treasurer – Manages communications, records meeting minutes, and oversees financial matters.
✈ Social Media & Outreach Coordinator – Manages the chapter’s online presence, promotes events, and engages with members and industry professionals.

Election Schedule

Planning has commenced to hold the elections during the week of April 21-25. Separate virtual meeting invitations will be sent to your inbox soon, detailing the nomination process, candidate presentations, and voting procedures.

Why This Matters Now

Holding elections for these roles is the crucial first step that will enable us to:
✅ Submit our bylaws for AAAE approval, finalizing our chapter’s official status.
✅ Plan and host events, including virtual and regional in-person opportunities.
✅ Take advantage of the AAAE Annual Conference in June in Atlanta, GA.
