How to Start a RSO

Students are encouraged to look at the active RSOs on the eUnion group's page to see if any meet their interests/needs and if none do, they are welcome to create a new RSO. We recommend you reach out to DSE prior to this time-frame to prepare your registration submission.

Submit the Form

The process officially begins when a student completes and submits the RSO Registration Form by viewing "All Groups" on eUnion and then selecting "Register a New Organization."

New RSO Requirements:

New RSO Registration Form

Must be completed in eUnion.

Membership

Must have at least 4 ERAU Worldwide students to be the RSO's first members.

SGA RSO Advisory Panel Meeting

Must meet with a DSE staff member and the SGA RSO Advisory Panel to learn what resources the SGA has for RSOs and how the SGA can help a new RSO to be successful. New RSOs will be contacted by DSE and SGA to schedule these meetings.

Student Leadership

RSO's must have four RSO Executive Cabinet members (i.e. President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary) or one RSO Ambassador to serve as the representative of their respective RSO.

Advisors

All RSOs must have a faculty/staff advisor who assists the RSO with the execution of the organization's mission.
