Theta Sigma Chapter - Phi Beta Delta Honor Society for International Students

The ΘΣ (Theta Sigma) Chapter of Phi Beta Delta at Embry-Riddle Worldwide is part of the first honor society dedicated to recognizing scholarly achievement in international education. The society, founded at California State University – Long Beach in 1986, has grown to become an international society with over 180 chapters. Our chapter promotes academic excellence, intercultural dialogue and global engagement among students, faculty and staff across our international community.

Our Mission: The aim of the Theta Sigma Chapter of Phi Beta Delta is to recognize and encourage high professional, intellectual, and personal achievements in the field of international education.

Objectives of Phi Beta Delta

Phi Beta Delta Honor Society for International Scholars is dedicated to the following core objectives:

1.

To recognize achievement in international educational interchange

2.

To increase the recognition, credibility, and importance of the international experience

3.

To develop a cadre of individuals (students and faculty) involved in the international experience

4.

To create a catalyst for international academic-based programming on campus.
