The Department of Student Experience

The Department of Student Experience provides and fosters an environment that supports student engagement and social experiences while empowering individuals to unlock their full potential and prepare them for a successful future through positive connections and interactions.

Registered Student Organizations (RSO)

The Department of Student Experience proudly supports diverse student organizations. We have academic and professional groups, service groups, social and hobby groups; and an array of other miscellaneous groups. All groups are created, organized, and run by the students and open to the Embry-Riddle Worldwide community. Our registered student organizations provide a lot of ways you can get involved outside of their academics, whether you want to be entertained and have fun or want to build your skills.

Worldwide Student Government Association

The Student Government Association at ERAU Worldwide serves as the official voice of the student body. Representing over 22,000 students across more than 130 locations and online, we champion student interests, support campus engagement, and foster inclusive leadership across all levels of the university. In addition, your Student Government Association enhances student life for our global community of online learners through the provision of services, events, and representation while providing a means for students to address issues with the administration. We strive to represent the student population through professionalism, dedication, and commitment to service.

SGA Ambassador Program

Each year, the Worldwide Student Government Association appoints students to serve as SGA Student Ambassadors to represent our global community of more than 20,000 of online learners. These SGA Student Ambassadors will have opportunities to grow leadership, outreach skills, and participate in SGA, clubs/organizations, and WW Site Locations sponsored events. This opportunity allows students to connect and collaborate with Worldwide leadership, faculty members, administration, and fellow eagles.

In-Person Student Programming

The Department of Student Experience provides Worldwide students with the opportunity to enhance their academic learning experiences through the development of, exposure to, and participation in which we call "in-person student experiences". Students are encouraged and expected to connect and register for these in-person programming events through eUnion and participate in our various clubs/organizations.

In addition, the SGA has established the "Ground Support Initiative." This initiative supports our worldwide students at the various site locations in the form of events, swag, and collaborative events with clubs/orgs and other site locations to promote brand awareness and affinity.

In addition, students may be able to participate in a semester or year-long student exchange program through partner schools that will be directly applicable to their degree programs at Embry-Riddle.
