All RSO events and meetings (off-campus, virtual) need to be registered and approved through the eUnion event registration process. Events must be registered at least 60 days in advance (but we recommend registering them as soon as possible). Approval should not be assumed, and it is the responsibility of the submitter to check for questions regarding the event in eUnion.
If partnering with an outside organization or vendor, the Worldwide Business Office may need to be consulted. Seek clarification and approval with the Department of Student Engagement.
If your registered event is no longer taking place, it is your responsibility to cancel the event in eUnion.
An Student Officer of your RSO must fill out and submit the WW RSO Expense Request Form.
To submit the required forms for your event request, please click on the following link and follow the steps.
Depending on what you're doing at your event, there may be some additional review needed before its approved. Be sure to check your eUnion notifications for any questions we may have about your event!
For instance, if your RSO is hosting a cookout we need to verify that there's at least one person with a food handler's certification or if you're playing a sport we need to discuss Activity Release Form.
Once the review is complete (and barring any unresolvable issues) your event will be approved! Following the approval of your event, an Officer of your RSO will create your event in eUnion.
Some RSO events may require additional support/payment from the DSE Office. Once your event is approved, please contact the DSE Office for guidance on any required purchases relevant to your event.
No purchases should be made prior to consulting with a staff member from the DSE Office
